Your support helped us exceed our goals!
THANK YOU!
#GivingTuesday may be over, but you can still give toward these needs and more.
What is Giving Tuesday?
Giving Tuesday is known as the global day of giving and is one of the largest charitable giving days of the year! It’s celebrated all month long but primarily focused on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving and immediately after Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Primarily fueled by the power of social media and collaboration, many organizations who participate set out to meet specific needs.
How YOU can help Camp during Giving Tuesday
All year long, our Camp Highland team stays focused on serving hundreds of children, families, schools, churches, businesses, and other ministry partners in order to build leaders, strengthen families and engage the heart. It’s an amazing job that requires a lot of hard work. In an on-going effort to continue serving people, we partner with generous donors who want to jump in to help support our mission. For Giving Tuesday this year, we have narrowed some of our more immediate needs down to three key areas. Your donation toward these needs will allow us to remain focused on serving people so that we can continue to have a greater impact!

- Technology Needs = $3,000: We use technology so that our guests don’t have to. Part of experiencing Camp as a guest is to disconnect from technology and get out into nature to engage with friends, family, and with God. With the expansion of a new outdoor amphitheater we need to add some equipment like laptops, microphones, and speakers.
- Maintenance Needs = $1,500: We have some really amazing facilities, and that means a lot of on-going maintenance and repairs. To try and keep these costs to a minimum, most of this work is done in-house. This creates a need for various power tools and equipment that help us keep our guests safe and our grounds looking great!
- Recreational Needs = $500: Much of what we do is recreational, which means we have a lot of fun utilizing all types of sporting equipment. However, this also means that these items get a lot of heavy use and often have to be replaced. We need to purchase items such as balls, bows and arrows, jerseys, ropes, harnesses, etc.
