What staff Say!

Diego Lopez

2025 Overnight Counselor

Working at Camp Highland is an experience unlike any other. It is a summer where you will experience some of the most rewarding and powerful moments from the Holy Spirit, while daily being brought to a reliance on him. Not only is it a Godly and special place, but it’s fun! Being on staff brought countless memories and traditions that will stay with me throughout my life.

Whether you’ve come to camp your whole life, or never set foot on property, you will find a community of believers who care for you. The culture and heart of camp is special, and every single person that comes to camp leaves impacted in different ways.

Come work at camp! You won’t regret it.

Mackenzie Francios

2025 Support Staff

My first summer, I had the joy of serving as a counselor, and this year I was given the opportunity to serve as support staff. Both roles were so meaningful, but being on support staff opened my eyes to a different and equally important way of serving. As support staff, I had the privilege not only of serving the kids, but also of serving and caring for my peers.

What makes camp so special is that the Lord’s love is truly evident in everything that happens here. The joy of the Lord radiates through the campers, the staff, and every moment of worship and community. Serving has taught me the beauty of selfless service, and shown me how powerful it is when a community comes together to live out the gospel.

Elizabeth Powers

2025 Trip Lead

Camp Highland is just different in every way from the world around us. Camp strives to love people unconditionally and serve people like Jesus. Camp shows us how to be the hands and feet of Jesus in this broken world. How to be kind and loving and intentional to people. And we also get to have so much fun while doing it. I have learned and grown so much thanks to Camp and I am so incredibly thankful for the community I found at Camp Highland. It is truly one of a kind and I would not trade my summers for anything.

Sean Josey

2025 A-Team

I have worked at Camp Highland for the past three summers now and every summer I’ve had monumental growth in my relationship with the Lord. This is due to the wonderful staff and culture at Camp Highland. The culture facilitated at Camp is warm, kindhearted, caring, joyful, and all about the LORD. The amazing staff is what makes the culture. Whether that be counselors or support staff, everyone works together in harmony. At camp people love to have fun with whatever the task may be.

I highly recommend applying to Camp Highland because camp will change your life like it did mine.

Kendall Rowland

2024 Support Staff

Camp Highland is such a special place! Getting to spend the summer with a staff who is on fire for the Kingdom and who walk in Christ’s freedom each day is the most life-giving thing I have ever been a part of! At camp we have the opportunity to share the unconditional love of the Lord with campers, while being encouraged and loved by a staff that truly feels like family! Each year I have walked away from camp more in awe of our Creator and his love for us.

Owen Hill

Serving here not only offers such an exciting and sweet summer, but it also opens the door for the Lord’s loving presence to rest on every single person who comes through the gates. Camp Highland stands so firmly on how our God can step into every single area of our everyday life. The staff, the experience, and the overall heart of camp has played such a role in my faith and it’s something I’ll cherish forever!

We also have paid positions at our Day Camp in Roswell for counselors, photographers and videographers. Email miriam@camphighland.com for more information!

What LITS Say!

Fallon Reese

2025 LIT

Working at Camp Highland is such a blessing. Being an LIT this summer was a great experience where I got to learn how to better serve others and myself, while bringing God into all that I do and growing closer to Him. I love how evident the Lord is at camp and how He is always moving there. It was sweet seeing kids giving their lives to Christ as a result of their counselors pouring into them daily. A part of the heart of camp is being a servant leader and learning how to become one and that shows in all of the staff.

If you are considering working at camp, I highly recommend it!!

KATE JACKSON

2024 LIT

Spending my summer at Camp Highland as an LIT was an incredibly life-giving experience that revealed what a Christ-centered community should truly look like. There is nothing more beautiful than coming together in unity, pursuing the Lord, and working toward a shared mission: spreading the love and joy of the gospel of Jesus Christ! Through this community, I formed deep connections with amazing people who were in different stages of life than I was, which gave me the opportunity to ask questions about life after high school. The wisdom and encouragement I received through these conversations brought me so much clarity and peace about my transition to college.

I am beyond grateful that I chose to spend my summer before college at camp—and if you’re considering it, this is your sign to APPLY TO BE AN LIT!!!

What interns Say!

KEITT KING

2024 Fall Intern

Interning at Camp Highland last fall was truly an amazing experience. There are so many life lessons, leadership opportunities, and new friendships that I will take with me outside of camp. I was challenged to be a better servant, be a better leader, and be a better friend throughout my time as a Camp intern. It was a great transition period in my life where I got to really slow down and focus on growing in my faith, spending time with the Lord, and establishing positive life habits. I will always be grateful for the semester I got to intern at camp, and am so glad that the Lord provided me with the opportunity to do so. If you love camp and are looking for an intentional experience to grow as a leader and a follower of Christ, this is a great opportunity to do so!
