Day Camp Volunteer Work Days
There’s a lot to do in preparation for next summer. Over the coming months leading up to Highland Day Camp 2019, we will host a handful of volunteer work days. These work days are a great way for you, your family, and your friends to come out and be a part of something that will have an impact on hundreds of kids. We will be busy working on things like clearing brush and building rope elements. We welcome people of all ages and skills. However, we require that all children under the age of 14 be accompanied by an adult.
A New Place To Call Home
Have you heard that we have a new home for Highland Day Camp? It’s true! We are excited to announce that Highland Day Camp will be held at Fellowship Bible Church. You can read all about the new partnership and future home of Highland Day Camp here! If you haven’t read it yet, here’s a brief excerpt from Camp Highland Founder, Bill Chapman. “At Highland Day Camp, it’s never about a child’s performance. Instead, it encourages the child to ask the question, ‘what does this mean for me’? This message really resonates with our campers. They begin to realize that we all are built for more than just performance. Furthermore, we are built for what really matters in life. Highland Day Camp is a place that starts to bring that out through our high adventure activities and our caring staff!”
